Job SummaryAssemble and repair assembled production or aircraft parts. Responsible formonitoring and controlling shelf life of consumables inventory.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Assembles Mechanical and Sheet Metal Products using engineering drawingsand sketches. Review completed work and ensure that the final assemblies and details areprotected from damage. Ensure that all assembly work meet quality standards. Perform testing and functional checks of assembled products. Review drawings, and parts lists for accuracy and coordinates with otherdepartments to resolve issues. Coordinate with repair station inspectors for final inspection andsign-off of completed tasks. Tear-down, evaluate and repair of returned components. Resolve assembly and documentation problems, report problems to theappropriate lead or supervisor for assistance, and follows up with allnon-compliance issues. Dependable and self-motivated Ability to manage several projects concurrentlyEquipment Used Sheet metal shear, hand and power brake, roller, belt sander, bandsaw, milling machine, drill press, sheet metal related hand and air tools.
