Responsibilities for Industrial Mechanical Assembly jobs include but are not limited to:
Manual Production Processing/Duties
Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly (such as bolts, screws, shafts or bearings)
Electrical Assembly (such as mounting wires, cables and terminations)
Use measuring tools, gauges and other hand tools
Basic cleaning of machine parts and first line maintenance
May be required to crane large components
Ability to follow work instructions and drawings
Verify dimensions, conformance and alignment of finished work-piece to specifications
Candidates are recommended to have the following qualifications for Industrial Mechanical Assembly jobs:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to four years related production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and production experience
1 year of related experience, preferably in warehouse or production
Strong natural ability to work in teams
Must be willing to wear a respirator, work around chemicals, and follow OSHA safety protocols
Ability to operate power tools and large hand tools
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
Walk 3 - 5 miles per day or stand for long periods of time
Dependable transportation
