Job Summary:
Forming an integral part of the Transportation Team at Beaver Creek you’ll be working directly with the Operations Management Team to oversee the 24/7 Shuttle Operations that we provide to our guests across Beaver Creek, Arrowhead and Bachelor Gulch. With a team of approximately 50 Drivers and a fleet of 70+ vehicles you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department including the management and training of Dispatchers and Drivers.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the Village Transportation Leadership team in creating and leading the achievement of the operational goals for the department
Help in generating excitement among the Operations team and Driver group by supporting resort initiatives and programs
Be an advocate and support the goals of the Beaver Creek guest experience
Act as manager on duty when assigned
Maintain a high level of appreciation for guest satisfaction
Lead the team in day-to-day management of service recovery processes
Assist in the recruiting and training of all Village Transportation programs and processes as they relate to operations for all Guest Service Drivers, Call Takers, Wash Crew and Dispatchers
Create and maintain daily schedules using the Transportation Management Systems
Facilitate the employee coaching/progressive discipline process as directed
Responsible for department payroll review and exception management as required
Responsible for first-contact response initiatives for vehicle incidents/accidents, and employee injuries (work comp), including possible implementation of the Crisis Management Plan. Assist Health and Safety in any proceeding follow up required
Be knowledgeable of, and participate in the implementation of the Village Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety programs
Work with Beaver Creek Fleet department to ensure the proper allocation and maintenance of Village Transportation vehicle resources
Observe and adhere to all USDOT/FMCSA regulations as they pertain to the operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles
Support and facilitate the creation and maintenance of Driver Qualification files to be compliant with USDOT/FMCSA regulations
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year experience overseeing operations at a supervisory level
Must have a strong background in Leadership; maintaining operational performance while leading staff effectively
Competent in Microsoft Office Products; Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be fluent in English
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Licenses/Accreditations: Commercial Drivers License preferred
The budgeted range starts at $51,300 - $61,600. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
