Provides general management and direction for field production teams in managing the flow of labor, material, equipment, direct labor and/or subcontractors to efficiently construct installation projects within the estimated costs, time schedules and quality standards. This position is responsible for implementing company field policy consistent with business strategic goals, translation of the contract documents, and the optimum use of field personnel and its support.

  • Provide general management and direction for field production teams in managing the flow of labor, material, equipment, direct labor and/or subcontractors to efficiently construct installation projects within the estimated costs, time schedules and quality standards.

  • Construction cost input and research during the design/bid process; coordination of estimating, pricing and project buy-out; establishment of project objectives, completion schedules and field staff requirements; and supervision of close-out activities and warranty upon completion of job

  • Manage general installation operations including use of superintendents, installers, personnel, equipment, material and facilities of the installation operations and service activities on the assigned projects while establishing and maintaining positive client relationships

  • Create and implement technical and field procedures, methods and practices that support the company strategy

  • Review project estimates, job cost control, scheduling and reporting

  • Manage Builder Trend and/or other CRM software suites which include determining reporting intelligence output and performance metrics within the department

  • Establish and maintain builder safety requirements, which may include reviewing and discussing OSHA safety rules with sub-contractors and employees, providing SDS documentation to builders, and attending safety meeting on required jobsites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in construction management or related studies preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in a construction supervisory position

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cabinet installation environment preferred

  • High level of integrity and ability to react appropriately under pressure.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Independent decision maker

  • Self-reliant; works independently, driven, high sense of urgency, takes initiative

  • Persuasive; ability to influence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce/Builder Trend/SupplyPro, is a plus
