Develop plans onhow to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic andmechanicalTrains employees as needed.Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programsComplete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might beneeded.Ability to install and maintain-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays,limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives,frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encodersMentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to helpthem achieve their goalsDevelop and maintain a good working relationships across all levels in theorganizationAbility to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performanceWork with teams to complete any additional projects as assigned.Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by managementfrom time to time.QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work all days and shifts, including overtime (24 hours a day,7 days a week operation, including holidays)Experience and proficiency in the following areas:Automated conveyors systems and controlsElectrical and electronic principlesBlueprint and electrical schematic readingKnowledge of CMMS programsPreventative maintenance proceduresIndustrial electricalIndustrial controlsIndustrial ElectronicsIndustrial PC literacyKnowledge of N.E.C.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDegree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical orElectrical field4 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical orElectrical fieldAble to manage, lead, and influence others on the teamDemonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects andworkloadAbility to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers,management, contractors and vendorsMust be highly self-motivated and customer-centricLeadership experience/aptitude, ability to mentor and develop trainingplans for other service techniciansADDITIONAL SKILLS .and.
