Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico andfar west Texas, is seeking applications for a diesel mechanic on heavyrental equipment in Aurora, CO.A Mechanic, Level 3 is responsible for troubleshooting equipment andperforming high level diagnostic assessments. This position understands howequipment functions as well as the theory behind its design. Additionalresponsibilities include examining equipment to diagnose the root cause of anyfailures. They also overhaul and rebuild major repairable sub-assemblies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESAdministrative:Understands the work order system and helps others learn to use this systemAccurately prepares service reportsDocuments the 4 C's (Complaint, Cause, Correction, Complication)on work ordersPromotes a clean, organized, and safe work environmentOrganizational:Applies 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Sweep, Standardize and Sustain)principles following every jobInterpersonal:Works effectively with others in the shop and helps build a strong teamworkenvironment.
