House Manager Description/Job Summary A family in Aspen, CO are seeking a full time experiencedHouse Manager for their residences. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, have strongknowledge of House Management duties, and a proactive attitude towardskeeping the properties in pristine order.Overseeing the Operations and Maintenance of family home estates: Able toguide Housemans and housekeepers while sending daily reports to the Directorof Residences.The ideal candidate must be a problem solver, resourceful, and havesuperior organizational skills; is meticulous with details, worksseamlessly under pressure, and has exceptional task prioritization skills.Has a "can-do" attitude and willing to help wherever and as needed,regardless how big or small the task. Demonstrate common sense. Energetic,willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job including but notlimited to: lifting, carrying, walking long distances, stairs,standing, use of ladders, driving. Must be a team player and guide byexample.Experience in private service management or professional related experience ina similar situation.. Have experience working with contractors, invoicereconciliation, cost comparisons; business minded. Responsibilities/DutiesSchedule and oversee regular and seasonal house and grounds maintenance,including sourcing vendors and ensuring best pricingDevelop professional and strong relationships with vendorsCoordinate and oversee construction, renovations and off season projectsIncludes understanding the work and bids and providing a recommendation forDirector of Residences approvalPoint of contact for contractors and external service providersCompetitively price out all work and track along the wayOversight for all work performed on the property from start to finishMaintain household files and vendor lists; Maintain records where neededTaking responsibility for the household inventory, ensuring that suppliesare always replenishedRunning errands and shoppingReview and approve invoices for payment related to ongoing management andmaintenance of residences; Work within budgetary restrictionsOversee care and maintenance of family vehiclesTroubleshoot TVs, Crestron system, lighting system, PC/Mac back-ups,other technologyAble to do minor repairsDemonstrating a hands-on approach to daily house maintenance with the abilityto assist the staff with hands-on tasksAble to manage multiple propertiesPerform other tasks and projects required by the Director; Required SkillsSuperior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in allaspects of the jobPolished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmostdiscretion at all times.
