The assembler will be flexible and as directed by the ProductionSupervisor, may be required to perform different assembly functions, basedon customer needs. Must adhere to all Sartorius Corporate policies andproceduAssemble, position and align the parts to create subassemblies using hand orpower tools according to the documented proceduresAssemble, position, and align the subassemblies to create the assembledunit using hand and or power tools according to documented proceduresInspect, test and adjust completed units to ensure that units meetspecifications, tolerances and customer order requirementsOperate or tend assembling equipment, such as computersRead assembly sequences to determine component parts and assembly ofelectromechanical unitsPack units to ship using material list and computerMaintain the quality of any product by following the correct procedures andalerting the Production Supervisor of any quality issues or concernsCross training as needed to meet customer needsBe an active participant in 6S, Continual Improvement and Work Cell Goalsand ObjectivesStrive to meet goals and objectives as listed by the Production SupervisorPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the ProductionSupervisor that fall into the knowledge and skills required for the positionSkills and experience that you need to bring to our company:High school graduate diploma or G.E.D.1-2 years Electro Mechanical Assembly related or equivalent experiencepreferredAbility to pay attention to details in a production environmentAbility to work within a team based environmentAbility to function in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-tasking environmentDisplays ownership and accepts accountability for work completion and qualityPrior production assembly experience preferredOvertime may be requiredStrong identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness,EnjoymentDriving our future growth requires talented people.
