Sundyne LLC Facilities Supervisor in Arvada, Colorado

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they aredoing!Position DescriptionThis position has direct supervisory responsibility for the Facilities andMaintenance organization for the Arvada site, which consists of six fulltime hourly maintenance technicians and three contract employees. TheFacilities and Maintenance team is responsible for Facility/GroundsManagement, Maintenance Management, Factory Transformation Management,and Facility Services Management.This is a hands-on position that requires close and effective workingrelationship with all organizations within the Arvada site, and well asexternal vendors and sub-contractors that support equipment and office areamaintenance and the Arvada facility overall.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that machine repair is occurring efficiently.Maintain manufacturing and testing equipment.Improve machine reliability through process improvement.Maintain facility utility equipment to ensure that production operations canbe performed.Coordinate facility repairs either through maintenance organization or outsidecontractors.Ensure services required for facility operations are being adequately providedMaintain facility grounds.Maintain security systems and security personnel for adequate protection offacility/employees.Provide adequate communication to employees in regards to facilityoperations/concerns.Ensure that Factory Transformation activities are being performed safely, onschedule and withinbudget constraints.Effectively manage facility upgrade projects.Deliver Plus 1 Customer Service.Achieve a 100% safe work environment for all employees, vendors andcontractors.Create a work environment that lends itself to high quality, highproductivity and uses the resources as lean as possible.Coach, train, motivate, discipline, reward, mentor LeadsCommunication of strategic and tactical plans specific to operating areaProvide positive and constructive feedback to personnel in regard to goalattainment, their individual performance in respect to the Roles andResponsibilitiesEnsure training plans are developed for Leads and EmployeesEnsure department Action Item Log/Action Plans for improvement ideas is upto date and communicated with workforce, maintained by SupervisorsBe on the floor developing Supervisors and LeadsSet Expectations and work with Supervisors for Schedule AttainmentReview current and future schedules weekly and allocate manpower to supportthe schedule and budgetDevelopment of productivity and capacity improvement plansSkills and Abilities RequiredCritical thinking and problem solvingAbility to lead individualsExcellent decision making and leadership capabilitiesContract negotiationConflict resolution experienceAdaptabilityAble to tolerate stressPreferred QualificationsHigh school Diploma/GED required; Associates degree or higher is preferredTheoretical and practical management knowledgeKnowledge of techniques and toolsKnowledge of facilities and maintenance operations5-10 years experience managing/leading individualsProficiency in maintenance software toolsIf you like growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers,you'll enjoy your career with us!Sundyne is an Equal Opportunity employer.
